A Pro Skier AND a Designer – Both Farm Kids. Hannah and Hamish Acland started Mons Royale in 2009. Both coming from High Country farms, they have a natural affinity for merino wool and the mountains in which the wool is grown. Hamish’s skiing and Hannah’s design background combined with their farming roots has given Mons Royale a unique platform to create a brand from – which includes their love for action and adventure sports. Today, Hannah continues to lead the brands design direction, with Hamish as CEO. The team of two has grown globally to over 40 staff across three offices. Vancouver, Innsbruck, and Wanaka. The brand is stocked in over 500 retail doors globally and has a fan base including some of the world’s best action sports athletes.
